Barbara Balz
Barbara Balz recently located to Bend, having retired from her administrative faculty position at OSU - Corvallis. Continuing her passion for volunteer community service work and specifically women's issues, Barbara is Vice President for the Saving Grace Board of Directors and serves on fundraising and board development special project teams. She also serves as Board Member for the Deschutes County Commission on Children and Families, chairs the Commission and serves on the Board's Leadership Development Committee. She is experienced in community team work, leadership and social justice action. Barbara and her husband have four grown daughters, all of whom are growing their careers and families. At last count they have five lively grandchildren located in various communities throughout the West.
