35 Hour Volunteer Training

The State of Oregon requires that Direct Services Volunteers attend a 35 Hour Volunteer Training. Saving Grace provides this training free of charge in the Spring and in the Fall each year. Handouts are provided at no charge. Resource Manuals are helpful and available for $10.

The next Volunteer Training dates are:

October 9	Saturday	9am - 4pm
October 12	Tuesday	6pm - 9pm
October 14	Thursday	5:30pm - 9:00pm
October 16	Saturday	9am - 3pm
October 19	Tuesday	6pm - 9pm
October 21	Thursday	6pm - 9pm
October 26	Tuesday	6pm - 9pm
October 28	Thursday	6pm - 9pm
October 30	Saturday	9am - 2pm

Specialized in-depth trainings for specific direct services are available in addition and are scheduled after the general volunteer training is completed.

People interested in becoming Administrative Volunteers are invited to attend the entire 35 hour training if they so desire. However Administrative Volunteers are only required to attend a shorter training of two hours.
