Saving Grace seeks a full-time Children’s Advocate in Bend to provide respite childcare and trauma-informed support to children staying in shelter, primarily ages 0-5 years; provide respite childcare in other Saving Grace locations in Bend, Support parents through consultation and role modeling; and facilitate evening children’s support group. The Advocate also provides crisis intervention and resource/referral services to adults seeking shelter, counseling, and other supports related to intimate partner violence/sexual assault (as needed).
Seeking an individual with exceptional communication skills who works well individually and within a team. Child/human development, child education or related social services experience preferred; demonstrated experience caring for children ages 0-5; college level education; or combination of above are required. Saving Grace is seeking an Executive Director to lead this private nonprofit that provides comprehensive family violence and sexual assault services while promoting the value of living life free from violence.The Executive Director is responsible for overseeing the administration, programs and strategic plan of the organization. Other key duties include fundraising, marketing, and community outreach. The position reports directly to the Board of Directors.
The Executive Director must: Effectively lead and manage change with a passion for the mission of this innovative, forward-thinking organization in a collaborative and positive spirit that engages others; provide governance, stewardship, and ambassadorship to Saving Grace; sustain the organization’s ongoing operations; provide a positive work culture that supports and develops staff and leadership through effective communication, coaching and respect; balance present and future needs through investment in leadership capacities, operations and administrative systems, fiscal reserves, community education and visibility; prioritize maintaining positive collaboration with the board, staff, and community partners, and expanding and nurturing donor relationships.
This is a full-time, exempt position, and the hiring range for the Executive Director position is between $75,000 - $90,000, DOE.
