Saving Grace hosts Let’s Talk About It: Where Do We Go From #MeToo?
That simple but powerful message has been reverberating across social media over the past week as people raise awareness about the pervasiveness of sexual harassment and assault, particularly against women.
This wave of visibility for survivors serves as a reminder than more than half of Oregon women and girls will experience domestic or sexual violence in their lifetimes. But despite these sobering numbers, we have the power to change the culture and stop the cycle of violence.
Saving Grace will host a community conversation about how to process the magnitude of the problem and what we can do – especially men – to stop everyday sexism and help create communities in which sexual violence is the exception, not the rule.
