Saving Grace Welcomes Erin Rook as Development Outreach Coordinator - October 2015
Saving Grace is pleased to announce that Erin Rook has joined the staff as Development Outreach Coordinator.
Erin comes to Saving Grace from The Source, where he spent the last two years covering local news and community issues, including domestic violence and sexual assault. In addition to his background in media, Erin has experience writing, speaking, and training on issues relating to intimate partner violence, and brings a passion for supporting survivors and preventing violence to his development work.
“It’s an honor to be working for an organization that provides life-saving and life-sustaining services for survivors and works to prevent violence in our communities,” Erin says. “I’m looking forward to connecting with our dedicated and generous supporters to help make Saving Grace’s vision--of a life without violence--a reality.”
Prior to joining the staff, Erin volunteered for Saving Grace, providing advocacy and administrative support. He has also served on the board of directors of the Human Dignity Coalition and the LGBTQ Community Advisory Committee for Portland-based domestic violence agency Bradley Angle.
