Taylor Smith

Volunteer Program & Prevention Coordinator - taylor@saving-grace.org

Taylor Smith
Taylor was born and raised in Bend and got her B.A. in English Literature from the University of Oregon in 2014. After traveling and teaching in Southeast Asia for a couple of years, Taylor came home and became involved with Saving Grace in April 2016 as a direct services volunteer. She loved volunteering so much that she became a fulltime AmeriCorps volunteer for Saving Grace and served a term as a shelter advocate from September 2017 – July 2018. Taylor is thrilled to step into the position of Volunteer Program and Prevention Coordinator in which she will focus on recruiting, training and retaining Saving Grace volunteers, as well as coordinating violence prevention in Deschutes County high schools. When not at Saving Grace, you can find Taylor teaching yoga around town, climbing rocks, and paddling on the Deschutes River.
