31 Men Against Domestic Violence
In October, as Saving Grace honors Domestic Violence Awareness Month, we are featuring 31 men from our Central Oregon community. Each man shares why he does not tolerate domestic violence. The idea is that every day of the month you will hear from a different male community member sharing why he cares! Each of these men come from different walks of life, they are different ages, with different professions, but all share the common goal of speaking up to prevent violence and abuse.
Hear from the 31 men below:
Christian Collett, Merkle, INC
Ken Wilhelm, Executive Director of United Way of Deschutes County
Greg Delgado, Central Oregon Jobs for Justice
Luis Alcala, Tensility Co-founder
Austin Blais, SEO Account Manager at Merkle Inc.
Tom Meagher, RBC Wealth Management
Doug LaPlaca, Visit Bend
Greg Swanson, Warrior Mind Coaching
Mosley Wotta, Artist
Ravi Chatterjee, Front Desk Manager at Bend Inn and Suites Hotel
Brian Vernon, US Cellular
Eric Burtness, Zion Lutheran Church and Saving Grace Board of Directors
Matt Gilstrap, Co-Owner of Cuppa Yo Frozen Yogurt and Woof Neighborhood Dog Wash
Stan Robson, Former Benton County Sheriff
Aaron Brenneman, Saving Grace Board President and Chief Deputy DA in Crook County
Drew Bledsoe, Offensive Coordinator at Summit High School and former NFL quarterback
This project ties in with Saving Graces "Man Up" initiative to get male community members involved with Saving Grace and speaking up within our community. If you would like to get involved please contact firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you to all of the men who took time to be a part of this project and speak up!
