Saving Grace takes your privacy seriously and is committed to protecting the privacy of our supporters and donors. We will not sell, rent, or give away your contact information to anyone else under any circumstances.

What information do we collect?

The only personal information we collect is the information you provide to us during the course of your visit to our web site. In various places on our website, we gather email addresses and other basic contact information as visitors subscribe to our electronic and/or print publications or RSVP for events. We also gather contact information from individuals who choose to donate to us via our website, so that we can to process their donations, acknowledge them in a timely manner, and keep donors informed about the impact of our work.

Saving Grace hires third-party service providers to host our website and online publications. Third-party service providers are not permitted to use or share any personally identifiable information that we provide to them as part of our service agreement.

Like most website operators, Saving Grace does track and access some information from server logs and our third-party service providers. This information includes the number of visitors to our web site, pages viewed, type of browser and operating system used, domain name of your Internet service provider, the entry/exit page to our site, the number of people who open our e-newsletter and the links clicked through to our web site or other web sites. We use this information to better understand people’s interest in our work and how people use our web site and e-newsletter. It is a valuable feedback tool for us.

How do we protect sensitive personal information?

Saving Grace takes every precaution to protect our subscribers and donor's information. When users submit sensitive information via the website, their information is protected both online and off-line.

When our website asks users to enter sensitive information (such as mailing addresses and credit card numbers), that information is encrypted and is protected with 256 bit encryption software - GeoTrust QuickSSL (Secure Socket Layer); the highest level of encryption and security possible. This means you can rest assured that communications between your browser and this site's web servers are private and secure. 

While we use SSL encryption to protect sensitive information online, we also protect this information off-line. All of our subscribers and donors information is restricted in our offices. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job are granted access to personally identifiable information. All of our databases are password-protected to ensure that unauthorized users cannot access sensitive data.

We do not retain any of your credit card information in our system or databases. All credit card details are processed by an outside verification and payment processing service in a secure environment.

What choices do you have for communicating with us online?

You can opt out of receiving communications from us. You may request access to personally identifiable information we collect about you through our electronic communications and you may request corrections to that information.
