We offer safety, hope, and healing to survivors of intimate partner violence and sexual assault and engage Central Oregon to build life free from violence. Saving Grace is a nonreligious organization that serves people of all faiths, backgrounds, and identities.

Saving Grace provides comprehensive services for survivors of intimate partner violence, sexual assault, trafficking, and stalking across Central Oregon. From emergency shelter and a 24-hour crisis hotline to legal advocacy, prevention education, and community outreach, we help individuals and families find safety, stability, and a path forward.

Our History
Founded in 1977 as the Central Oregon Battering and Rape Alliance (COBRA), Saving Grace began as a grassroots volunteer organization with a donated office and a 24-hour crisis hotline. Over the years, we expanded services across Deschutes, Jefferson, and Crook Counties, adding emergency shelter, legal advocacy, hospital response, supervised visitation, and community-based support.
In 2007, the organization adopted the name Saving Grace, inspired by a survivor who described the support she received as her "saving grace." Today, we continue to grow alongside our community, adapting to meet emerging needs while staying grounded in the values that gave us our start.
