Development Director
Saving Grace is seeking a Development Director to lead our Development Team.
This position will lead and implement a diversified private fundraising strategy that strengthens individual giving, builds a sustainable major donor pipeline, actively engages the Board in fundraising, and reduces organizational reliance on public funding, while strengthening community relationships and donor-facing communications that support Saving Grace’s mission and visibility through visible, relationship-based leadership.
The Development Director will provide leadership and hands-on engagement in building and stewarding relationships with donors, community partners, media, and supporters, while coordinating shared relationship ownership across the Development team, Executive Director, Board, and program leadership.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in individual giving and donor relationship management, experience with fundraising and grant writing, and demonstrated ability to represent an organization publicly through media interviews, public speaking, donor engagement, and community partnerships with warmth, confidence, and professionalism.
A bachelor’s degree or advanced degree; or equivalent lived and worked experience is required for this position.
Position is full time, 35 hours per week, $80,000/yr depending on experience, plus generous rewards/benefit package.
