Direct Service Volunteers

Become a Certified Advocate with the State of Oregon

Direct service volunteers play an integral role providing confidential services to survivors at no cost. After completing the required training, advocates can support survivors through our 24-hour helpline, hospital response team, legal advocacy, and support groups. 

Fall 2026 Training Schedule

Our Fall 2026 training will prepare new volunteers to serve on the helpline and hospital response team.

Training takes place in person in Bend. In addition to the primary training dates, volunteers will choose one specialized training: Hospital Response or Helpline.

  • Saturday, October 3rd 9am-5pm

  • Sunday, October 4th 9am-5pm

  • Saturday, October 17th 9am-5pm

  • Sunday, October 18th 9am-5pm

Hospital Response Team Training

  • Saturday, October 24th 9am-5pm

Helpline Training

  • Sunday, October 25th 9am-5pm
